When is the new app launching?
We're aiming for early July, we'll shout about the actual date as soon as we have it locked in. We're still stress-testing the arse off it to make sure it doesn't fall over when you all pile in.

Is FitBtch live or can the workouts be performed in my bedroom in my knickers?

All our workouts are pre recorded so you can perform any session at a time suitable to your schedule. And each one also has a written version with a form video for each move and a timer. We've designed all our programmes to be used ideally over a 4, 6 or 12 week period (depending on the course) but you can dip in and out of the sessions and complete it at your own pace if life gets in the way. Anything is better than nothing!

Do I have to follow along with the workout videos?

No! We recommend following along initially because we'll coach you through technique, pacing and exercise set-up. However, every workout is also written out clearly inside the app, with step by step exercise demonstrations, guidance and a built-in workout timer – how swish is that? You can choose to follow along with us on screen or when you're comfortable with the moves (/sick of our banter...) simply follow the workout structure at your own pace using the timer and exercise library. Whatever suits you best – we're easy!

I'm a busy bitch, how long are the workouts?

They vary from around 15 minutes (for a Quickie) to 30 minutes. Most of our main strength workouts are 30 minutes, but there are some in the 20-25 minute region. Mobility sessions are a lot shorter!

I'm unfit AF. Will the course accommodate for different fitness levels?

Yes, we have both a complete beginner level and a more intermediate level, demonstrated beautifully by us throughout the workouts! Follow along at your own pace. As you get stronger you can adjust the weight you use to make the workouts harder or more suitable to your level of fitness. This is detailed in the introduction section of the plan.

I'm a lazy bitch. How often do I need to repeat the workouts?

This is up to you and your available time to train. Included in each programme is the ideal number of sessions per week. Usually this is 3 times per week but we just want you to do what you can. It'll just take you a bit longer to work through the course. Our recommendation is to aim for at least 2 strength workouts per week if you want to make some decent progress. Our beginner Strong Foundations is only one strength and one short mobility workout per week so eases you in nicely!

Do you need any exercise equipment?

You will need dumbbells, a resistance band and ideally a mat. Occasionally a chair nearby. Some courses need a kettlebell (the Kettlebell one for example, we know, crazy!) but all is detailed in the info section of each one on our app.

How does the nutrition work?

It's included as part of your membership.

You'll find meal plans, dozens of recipes and practical nutrition resources designed to help you eat well to support your body and brain in midlife, without overcomplicating things. Our approach focuses on balanced eating, getting enough protein, fibre and nutrients, and creating habits that support your health and fat loss or muscle-building goals long term. The recipes are simple, family-friendly and designed for real life. No complicated ingredients, no spending hours in the kitchen, and no need to be a master chef or a food influencer. Just straightforward meals that taste lovely and help you feel your best.

Do I need to track calories?

F no. Many of our members never track calories at all. We believe understanding the basics of balanced eating, protein, portion sizes and meal structure is often the best place to start. For those who want more structure, calorie tracking can be a useful tool (and there are plenty of free apps which are good enough for this... maybe we will offer it here one day), but it's always optional. If your goal is fat loss we have a great library of resources in our app which will help you understand exactly what you need to focus on - just read through our Nutrition Guidance articles on our app.

I've recently popped out a sprog. Are your programmes suitable for postnatal women?

These are low impact programmes to strengthen the whole body plus we have a pelvic floor workshop to boot so on the whole FitBtch is suitable for those in the postnatal stage. It will not only add full body function and strength, it will also help you understand how to locate and connect to the deep core and pelvic floor muscles to improve your general pelvic floor function.

Are these plans Prolapse or Diastasis safe?

Starting with the beginner exercises and adhering to our pelvic health workshop tips could be great for your body, but we would advise consulting with a pelvic health physio before you begin any exercise programme.

Whilst this is a low impact, strengthening plan with a pelvic floor workshop, we cannot guarantee that all exercise will not exacerbate any symptoms you have. Unfortunately there is no ‘safe’ list of exercises given for either of these issues, rather a focus on your ability to manage pressure well and understand how to load your pelvic floor when exercising in certain positions.

How do I know how to do the exercises?

Every exercise comes with detailed guidance to help you feel confident. We've built a comprehensive exercise library containing video demonstrations, coaching points and exercise instructions, so if you're unsure about an exercise, help is only a tap away. You'll also find Kelly doing exercise demonstrations throughout the workouts themselves.

I'm already a member - do I need to do anything right now?
One thing: check the email address you use to log in to FitBtch. Make sure it's one you still have access to, and that it's one you're happy to use for the new app. That's how we'll recognise you and protect your membership. If you need to update it, do it now before we launch.

Will my membership carry over?
Yes. Your membership is safe, but it won't transfer automatically. You'll need to download the new app and set up a new account using the same email address as your current one. You will will get a free month on us to make up for the extra admin.

What if I end up with two accounts?
Don't panic. We've got a process for deleting your old account on our old platform set up on our end, so if something goes wonky just get in touch and we'll sort it. But you can always cancel it yourself if you'd like to. Head to your Settings inside the old/current platform. AFTER you've signed in on the new app!

Will all my data and history come across?
Unfortunately, the new app won't know what workouts you've done or where you are in any current courses. You'll need to start your current course from the beginning and skip the workouts to the end to unlock the next one. Sorry it's a bit of a pain in the arse but see above about the free month!

Is it safe? What about my personal data?
Your data is handled securely and stored in line with GDPR standards. We're migrating users in batches to make sure everything goes smoothly.

The new app doesn't work on my phone - what do I do?

We've tested across iOS and Android, but if you hit an issue please contact us and let us know your device and OS version. We want to know about it.

What if I can't log in to the new app?
First check you're using the exact same email you currently use for FitBtch on our original platform. If it's still not working, drop us a line and we'll sort you out (not in that way).

Do I have to move over straight away?
Nope. The old platform isn't being switched off anytime soon, and we'll give you plenty of time and hand-holding to make the move when you're ready.

Can I use the app from outside the UK?

Membership is available worldwide and can be used anywhere, at any time once purchased.

The written exercises and form guides on the workouts don't match the video

We have a LOT of different but similar exercises on our app and we've filmed loads of form guides... but not every single move. We've tried really hard to make sure that the form videos are, if not identical, very very similar and will give the same benefits as the ones in the video workout! We'll add to these as time goes on!

I hate it. How do I cancel?

To end subscription payments to FitBtch, follow these steps:

iOS/Apple: open the Settings app, tap your name, select Subscriptions, tap the FitBtch app, and hit Cancel Subscription.

Play Store/Android: open the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, go to Payments & subscriptions, and select Subscriptions. Tap the subscription you wish to terminate, select Cancel subscription, and follow the on-screen instructions.

The subscription will then change to Cancelled and you will automatically lose access to FitBtch content at the end of your billing period.

If you're unsatisfied with the annual membership, you can cancel within 14 days of the initial subscription under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. To request a refund:

iOS/Apple: open the App Store > go to your profile > Apps and Purchase History > Purchase History and find FitBtch > click on FitBtch in the list > Report a Problem. This will take you to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the FitBtch purchase here, select "Request a refund," choose a reason (e.g. "I didn't mean to purchase this item" or "Other"), and submit. Apple typically processes these within a few days, though approval is at Apple's discretion.

Play Store/Android: open the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, go to Payments & subscriptions, select Budget & history (or Order history), find the FitBtch purchase, and tap "Request a refund" or "Report a problem." Alternatively, refunds can be requested at play.google.com/store/account by selecting the order and choosing "Request a refund."

Note: refund approval ultimately sits with Apple or Google as the payment processor, not us/FitBtch directly, since purchases are made through their platforms. If a refund through the store doesn't go through within your statutory window, you're still entitled to query it with us, contact us at info@fitbtchpower.com and we will sort you out.
