Nailing midlife nutrition: drink your damn greens (& protein)

FitBtch's Green Goddess Smoothie

Serves 1


You need:

Blender

Cup (if your blender doesn't have one attached)

Mouth. You don't even need teeth for this one!

Approximate because we're not weighing the handful of greens and different milks vary!


Calories – 450

Fat – 23g

Carbs – 33.1g

Protein – 35.9g


Ingredients:


300ml milk of your choice – we used almond

1 stalk of Cavolo Nero, woody stem removed

1 handful fresh or frozen Spinach

1 scoop of vanilla protein powder

1 tbsp Omega seed mix; flaxseeds, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds

100g Natural Greek Yogurt (look for at least 6g protein per 100g) 


Top tip: If you can’t face the greens, swap out for fresh or frozen berries instead.

  1. Blend

  2. Drink

  3. Revel in your protein intake in one fell smoothie
