About time we did a treat edition on this blog. Don't go being all January about it, slags - it's good for you. This one is somewhere up on the god(dess) tier of treats. Is It Cake? Yes it is.

Just to recap something we often wang on about in our blogs, women in midlife and perimenopause need something in the region of 100–120g protein a day - the higher end if you're active and building your strength and muscle like the glorious FitBtch you are. And we (because it's 100% us as well) should be spreading this out through the day so dinner doesn't have to do all the heavy lifting. You're not The Rock so you can't nosh off five chicken breasts and be done with it (or even be okay).
You're going to need snacks.
Not want. NEED. Sure, you could have a boiled egg. ORRR you could make a batch of these sexy AS peanut butter bars.
